Responsibilities:1st Shift - (6:00 am - 3:00 pm Monday - Thursday and 6:00 am - 12:00 Noon Friday and overtime as business needs dictate) 
Starting Pay $18.00 (additional compensation may be available depending upon experience)
Our Globe Footwear Plant, a Division of MSA Safety, is looking for individuals who are interested in being part of a team that builds protective leather footwear for firefighters. Our Team consist of individuals performing stitching and non stitching operations as we convert specialty cut fabric into high quality footwear.
We are now hiring a Cutting Room Associate at our manufacturing plant to support operations as we convert specialty cut fabric into high quality footwear. 
Responsibilities: Spreading leather on cutting tables Cutting leather into pieces using a GERBER Cutter Using a swing beam and dies to hand cut parts Placing cut goods on rolling racks Prepping material for other areas of production Qualifications: Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent  Must be able to stand/walk, bend and reach for full shift Able to assist in team lifting of approximately 30 pounds Strong organization skills and high attention to detail Good communication skills and ability to work individually and as a team Ability to: Read, write and speak in Basic English Have basic knowledge of computers or tablets Use and understand a ruler and measurements Experience Preferred: Previous experience in Quality Control and Inspection desirable Ability to use a measuring tape/ruler and take accurate measurements #LI1-MI1
