Job summary
The Service Advisor is responsible for communicating with customers about their vehicle repair needs and relaying information to the Service Technicians.Duties include greeting customers, helping them determine repairs and costs, and updating customers about their vehicle's repair status.Bosselman offers benefits such as paid vacation, 401K matching contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, and a clear growth path.

Responsibilities
• Greets customers and provides friendly competent customer service.• Coordinates the service center's scheduling and workflow.• Writes service orders, creates estimates, and finalizes payments following cash handling policies.• Answers customer questions about service outcomes and consults with Technicians as needed.• Understands marketing and sales strategies to finalize transactions.• Consults with Technicians about needed repairs and communicates those needs with the customer.• Increases knowledge of products and services to understand industry needs.• Responsible for keeping customer-facing items clean, stocked, and up to date.• Receives merchandise, stocks, and updates pricing for showroom products.• Maintains a complete understanding of the Boss Shop Warranty process.• Assigns work to Technicians and follows company safety policies and procedures.• Reports to work in a timely manner and assists with other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Retail or guest service experience preferred.• Valid driver's license and insurable to drive.• Able to maintain working knowledge of parts inventory.• Able to complete the Service Advisor New Team Member Training within first 90 days.• Able to work efficiently on the computer system.• Ability to read, write, and perform math skills.• Must possess a positive, enthusiastic attitude and be flexible to adapt to change.• Excellent communication skills in English.• Must have reliable transportation and phone.• Able and willing to deliver friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service.• Able and willing to work cooperatively with other team members.• Physical requirements include occasional lifting/moving up to 50 lbs and frequent standing, walking, using hands and fingers, talking, and hearing.
