We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our client in the food and consumer goods industry. This position will be located in Itasca, Illinois. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The position offers an immediate start date, with flexibility for candidates requiring notice. Working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including a lunch break. Required:
Experience: 2+ years of Customer service experience out of a product-based environment Education: HS Diploma, Associate's or Bachelor's in Business Administration/ Science preferred Software: Advanced skills in Word and Excel, experience in an ERP system Responsibilities:
Receive and coordinate customer orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Arrange freight through TMS and process orders for shipment, communicating shipping requirements with the warehouse. Ensure timely delivery of customer orders and address inquiries regarding tracking, shipments, scheduling, and other order-related information. Maintain contracts and manage release dates for products in collaboration with Product Managers and Salespersons. Assist Sales staff, answer inbound calls, and maintain excellent customer relationships, while performing additional duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
