DescriptionPosition at Coastal Pacific Food Distributors Coastal Pacific Food Distributors currently has an opening for a Customer Service Representative, M-F, day shift hours.   Working under limited direction & general supervision represents the customer service department in accordance with established policies and guidelines.
Benefit Details: 

Range of Pay:  #19.00 to $22.00/hr.Annual increases every JanuaryAnnual Company BonusCompetitive Benefit Package; 401K; Medical, Dental, Vision and Life InsuranceRoles & Responsibilities: Coordination of export shipments (VAN planning, production of accurate shipping documentation, tracking containers and shipments to ensure timely delivery to the port)Perform tasks related to logistics and misc./other export shipmentsData entry of informationRespond to customer queries and complaints and overall customer relationsCollect, disseminate and manage data and reports for various customers and/or brokersInteract with buyers, warehouse, transportation and our customers regarding products, orders, and inbound appointmentsCover reception desk as needed for breaks and vacationsOther duties as assignedJob Requirements: Education:High School Diploma or General Education Degree
Minimum requirements: Must be able to pass an extensive government background check and finger printing
Experience:  Twelve (12) months verifiable experience in a customer service or administrative role
Computer Skills:  Advanced Microsoft Office Skills, type 45 WPM, 10 Key proficiency of 8000 kph
Skills & Abilities: 
Ability to critically think through multiple step process and follow-upHandle multiple priorities without losing detailsAbility to work under time pressuresExcellent time management skillsAccustomed to working in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentCapable of diffusing customer complaints in a professional mannerOther Requirements:  The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.  Adept at leading others in a positive and productive manner, while building a cohesive team environment which supports the mission and vision statement of the company.  Ideal candidate must have experience in identifying, analyzing, solving and preventing problems, be capable of communicating effectively with others both orally and through the written word and proficient at reading, analyzing and interpreting oral and written information.
