Maintenance of databases including successfully entering orders in SAP. Daily review of open order report to ensure customer requirements and delivery dates are met. Customer relations including problem resolution by phone/email, and new customer processing. Enter any related customer complaints into SAP. General Administrative Support - Maintain customer database. Assist sales and marketing with business data as required. Responsible for assisting with running reports. Provide backup to other customer service representatives for vacation and/or sick time coverage. Participate in department workgroups as assigned to help improve customer service processes and interactions with other departments. REQUIREMENTS Education: High School Diploma or equivalent and 0-2 years experience and/or training in related area; or Associates Degree or Training Certification in related area. Related Experience: Experience in working with customers in a business environment. Works from established guidelines and procedures under general supervision. Special Training or Competence: Understanding logistics/Operations and impact of fulfilling customer's order. Must have high level of interpersonal skills. Must have strong negotiation skills, problem solving skills, demonstrated oral and written communication skills; demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to work independently and as a team member. Equipment Skills: Knowledge of printers and general office equipment necessary. Software Skills: Knowledge of and/or the ability to learn a variety of computer software applications in word processing, database, and presentation software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint); SAP preferred.
