Job Description:

Xcel Energy is seeking a reliable and resilient Customer Care Associate to join our team in a remote work position based in Houston, Texas. As an Associate Level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in a customer service role.

Responsibilities:1. Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and chat channels.2. Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide solutions in a timely and professional manner.3. Assist customers with billing inquiries, service requests, and account management.4. Document customer interactions accurately in the CRM system.5. Collaborate with other departments to escalate and resolve complex customer issues.6. Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation in customer service operations.7. Meet and exceed performance metrics, including response time and customer satisfaction scores.8. Stay up-to-date on company products, services, and policies to provide accurate information to customers.9. Participate in training and development programs to continuously improve customer service skills.

Requirements:1. 4+ years of experience in a customer service role.2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.3. Strong problem-solving abilities and a desire for innovation.4. Ability to work independently in a remote setting.5. Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite.6. High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
