Responsibilities
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise Early Childhood & Family Education, School Readiness, and Pre-School Screening Programs.• Seek and manage grants and funding sources for early childhood education.• Serve as a central liaison to external agencies in matters of early childhood education.• Promote communication and collaboration between early childhood programs within the district.• Align the function with the organization's mission and core values.• Develop and communicate a shared vision for the role.• Implement continuous improvement processes.• Foster a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.• Develop strategies for early childhood programs and build a positive sense of community.• Conduct ongoing community needs assessments.
Requirements
• Three years of relevant programming experience.• Three years of relevant supervisory experience.• Early Childhood or Parent and Family Education licensure.• Minnesota Administrative License.• Knowledge of early childhood programs and developmental needs of young children.• Strong organization and management abilities.• Proficiency in communication skills.• Familiarity with school accounting, budgeting, and coordination with a large school district system.
