Job summary
Package liquid and dry culture concentrates into various sized pouches and containers.Operate processing and packaging equipment.Follow established procedures to achieve QC approved products.

Responsibilities
• Assemble, disassemble and operate various processing and packaging machines.• Operate video-jet, Label makers, pelletizer, centrifuges, ribbon blender, freezer, metal detector and cartoner machines.• Perform COP, CIP and SIP of equipment lines and holding tanks.• Perform piping connections for CIP/SIP of product lines.• Wash and autoclave packaging machine parts.• Package materials following process descriptions and job analysis information.• Record manufacturing lot numbers, QC inspection sheets, and weights.• Operate COROS interface for main screen operations, product transfers, and SIP/CIP water rinse of line circuits.• Wash and clean equipment per the sanitation manual.• Follow GMP program and rules.• Operate centrifuge according to specifications and under proper conditions.• Operate forklift.
Requirements
• High school diploma or GED preferred.• None required.• Six months to one year experience in a food manufacturing environment desirable.• Must have the ability to work alone and in close cooperation with production personnel.• Capable of working through complex problems alone or with others to provide logical solutions.
