Job Description:
As a key member of our team, you'll report directly to the CEO-President, driving the design and development of our electronic control systems. Your leadership will be instrumental in managing our Electrical Engineering R&D team, guiding them through the creation and implementation of PLC-based systems. You'll be the point person for innovative ideas, overseeing projects from conception to delivery.
Responsibilities:
Lead control systems projects, from layout and design to vendor and client communications
Manage the Electrical Engineering R&D team, providing mentorship, training, and performance reviews
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, manufacturing, IT, and more
Utilize ERP systems for workflow management and metrics reporting
Oversee the selection of vendors and coordinate with external partners
Present recommendations and updates to C-Level management
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and documentation standards
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Physics, Math, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering
Extensive experience in a leadership role within a similar industry
Proficiency in PLC programming and ladder logic
Knowledge of industrial networking protocols (e.g., profi-bus, mod-bus, ethernet)
Familiarity with data acquisition and SQL-based databases
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Experience with AutoCAD and electrical schematics is a plus
