Position: CT Technologist

9:00 am - 5:00 pm (includes a 60 min break)
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, No weekends or holidays. Overtime possible if needed.
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K Potential commissions and incentive bonuses (if applicable) Job Summary: The CT Technologist is responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) procedures to assist medical professionals in diagnosing and treating patients. The technologist will operate CT equipment, ensure patient safety, and produce high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis.
Key Responsibilities: Perform CT procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and guidelines. Prepare and position patients for CT examinations, ensuring their comfort and safety. Operate CT imaging equipment and adjust settings to obtain optimal images. Evaluate images for technical quality and diagnostic accuracy. Maintain patient records and document procedures accurately. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide diagnostic information. Follow all safety protocols, including radiation safety and infection control procedures. Maintain equipment by performing routine checks and troubleshooting minor issues. Ensure a clean and organized work environment. Provide patient education and address any concerns regarding the CT procedures. Adhere to the dress code of navy scrubs. Required Skills & Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist. Proficiency in operating CT equipment and relevant technology. Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and radiographic techniques. Ability to evaluate image quality and make necessary adjustments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Preferred Skills & Experience: Experience with EPIC electronic health record system. Advanced certifications or specialized training in CT technology. Education & Certifications: Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist. Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Additional Information: This is a 12-week assignment with a potential for overtime based on departmental needs. The position requires a minimum of 1 year of recent experience in CT technology and proficiency in relevant equipment operation.
