Coeur Mining, Inc. is the largest U.S.-based primary silver producer and a growing gold producer.The Company has five precious metals mines in the Americas generating strong production, sales, and cash flow.Coeur Rochester, a subsidiary of Coeur Mining Inc. based near Lovelock, Nevada, is seeking a Crusher Operations Ground Person to join our team at the Rochester Mine.The Crusher Operator is responsible for the performance of the following duties in a safe and productive manner:Job Duties (Not Limited to):Operates panel board to control conveying, crushing, and sizing of ore to prepare it for leachingObserves dials and gauges to route ore through a series of screens and crushersMonitor machine amperages to determine load on conveyors and regulates loadsObserves panel lights and meters for indication of overloads, malfunctions or plugged chutes, and shuts down plant or adjusts controls to regulate feedNotifies maintenance and loading personnel of delays or malfunctionsDoes minor maintenance and preventive maintenance to crushing systemSome heavy equipment operation is necessary to clean up and feed crushing systemClean up crusher area including hand shoveling, skid steer operation, compressed air operating, etc. Some supervision of other crusher attendantsNotifies foreman of parts that need to be replaced and of operating problems that are encounteredResponsible for the operation of the crusher systemCreate work orders and job requests when necessaryMaintain a clean and citation-free mine site environmentPerform daily workplace and equipment safety inspections Physical RequirementsFollow all procedures and safety measures such as, confined space, working at heights, etc., to assure safe productionWork in all conditions and environments, approximately 80% of job is outdoorsAble to lift 65 lbs. on an occasional basisAble to walk up and down slopes and uneven ground dailyAble to travel up and down stairs on a regular basisWorkplace RequirementsWork as a team member and communicate openly with othersSelf-directed and able to take leadership role on many projectsWilling to stop work for safety concerns and always abide by safety best practices, policies and proceduresRotation of work assignments to maintain trainingRespirator use is required5-5-4 Rotational Shift SchedulePreferred background/educationA high school diploma or equivalent A vocational-technical college degree0-1 years' experience in equipment maintenance
