Comcast Network Facilities & Energy team is looking for an Engineer on Critical Infrastructure Tools Integration team. They will be responsible for Foreseer oversight & driving integrations & control configurations, & learning WebCTRL. In addition to system, setup, system maintenance, and vetting /aggregating end user requirements for implementation.The successful candidate will have broad experience in the following critical domains and have a history of working with the following Data Center Tools & Skills:With Data Center Critical Infrastructure technologies & power distribution.Foreseer device integrations.Foreseer system problem resolution, escalating complex issues where analysis of the situation requires in-depth evaluation and judgement.Foreseer Reporting Services – augment/troubleshoot existing reports for the end users.Simple Network Monitoring Protocol (SNMP).Management Information Base (MIB) Files, and Object IDs – how to acquire, read, and utilize to gather data.Building Automation and Control (BAC) networks.Understanding of HysteresisIP Addressing and Subnetting.Active Directory (AD).MS Windows ProficiencyServices – validate state, starting/stopping, Log on as…Common Command Prompt knowledge – ping, tracert, ipconfig…Disk Manager, Server Manager, Task Manager, Task SchedulerEvent Management Investigation / Logfile reviewOther responsibilities include but not limited to:

Remediation of Comcast security issues as related to the team's applications.Communicates with others to repair broken automation scripts and performs peer review of automation codebase. Work with both internal and external groups to ensure OS and Application patching is being completed and any security vulnerabilities are being addressed.Provides training to junior staff. May lead projects by contributing technical expertise.Utilizes JSON, SQL, or Scripting (as needed) to create data portability between Applications.Skills & Experience We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.3-5 years of relevant technical operations or engineering experience.Demonstrated experience of monitoring Applications and configuration.Strong verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated technical leadership.Builds and maintains ongoing relationships with application end users.Previous experience with the ServiceNow ITSM module is strongly desired.Proficiency in MS Office Suite of applications including Visio.About Our Perks & Benefits
