Summary Responsible for instructing secondary-level students in appropriate subject area, in coordination with current curriculum and within the framework of and state content standards.

Serve as an advisor to a small group of students and actively work to develop a professional, respectful, and trusting relationship with advisees. Administer, edit, proofread, and grade students' assignments and assessments in a timely manner. Monitor student growth and progress, adapt support as needed, and maintain documentation pertinent to academic, social, and emotional progress and needs of students. Communicate students' progress, and needs with parents/guardians and other staff as needed. Complete before-school duty, after-school duty, and/or lunch duty. Attend work and arrive in a timely manner. Perform other duties as assigned.
