As the CJ Sub-Business Line Leader, you will function in an executive role, working as a key partner with sales/business development and technical team leaders to capture and deliver strategic programs, in addition to working with operations and support services team leaders to successfully manage existing customer programs and meet contractual deliverables and SLAs. As the Sub-BL Leader, you will lead and oversee the program management team and oversee the entire criminal justice account portfolio, driving quality deliverables, achieving customer satisfaction, and meeting the criminal justice business segment's financial objectives. You will be responsible for influencing senior leaders within the customer community and third party partners to align and agree to proposed solutions and services, and will serve as the expert to achieve client success. This position requires proactive leadership, domain knowledge, exceptional program management skills, strong financial skills and P&L management, strong communication and customer-facing skills, prior experience with software and infrastructure deliver, services and support operations, and maintain an executive presence.
Key to your success will be the ability to effectively balance competing priorities and interests, the ability to lead cross-business teams in a matrix organization, and a relentless drive to deliver quality services to satisfy customers, and driving on time/on budget deliverables. In addition to program execution responsibilities, you will be instrumental in growing and expanding criminal justice programs and other strategic initiatives in collaboration with other internal leaders. You will help develop and maintain a top-notch team of program managers, ensuring longevity of the team to support the long-term relationships of our customers. You will also participate in customer meetings and executive level presentations as required.
Job Summary Functional management responsibility for Program Managers Responsibility and oversight for the criminal justice customer contracts, deliverables and compliance Responsible for the overall customer satisfaction and client success Responsible and oversight for the criminal justice business segment's P&L performance Owns strategy for the criminal justice customer portfolio to ensure long-term success Supports business development for the business segment Essential Job Functions Management and supervision of the program managers to accomplish and support company objectives. This function involves providing leadership, coaching, counseling, reviewing and maintenance of team members and ensuring growth; planning, monitoring, and appraising team member tasks; organizing and monitoring work performance of team members; enforcement of processes, tools, standards, best practices and techniques established by the organization Management of the portfolio of active contracts and associated customer satisfaction by allocating and/or changing program management resources as necessary Management and supervision of the portfolio of customer contracts and opportunities overseen by the Program Managers in order to track, support, and ensure alignment and compliance with company goals and objectives. This function involves scheduling and conducting regular reviews with the Program Managers; and general coordination with, communication to/from, driving of activities with, and status reporting from the Program Managers Portfolio financial management, which includes P&L management to ensure timely recognition of revenues and achieving margin objectives; leading and directing activities specifically focused on financial and strategic growth of the organization; risk management and devising mitigation plans and enacting actions to avoid negative financial implications Supports R&D budgeting activities by providing input for criminal justice program priorities Overall program team development and succession planning Ensure compliance with the team's execution of customer quarterly program/business reviews Ensure compliance of the team's utilization of existing processes and procedures Support value creation planning initiatives, specifically focused on the criminal justice business segment Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong program / project management skills and practical experience Excellent financial skills and proven P&L management Strong leadership skills, with decision making abilities, interpersonal and motivational skills, and excellent general business acumen skills Effective collaboration and negotiation skills, working with business partners to effectively resolve problems and deconflict competing priorities Excellent organization and time management skills which includes planning, organizing, and prioritizing with attention to details Proven track record for meeting deliverable timelines and SLAs and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction Excellent analytical skills, critical and strategic thinking, and strong problem-solving skills Excellent communications and presentation skills and ability to apply upwards, downwards, and across the organization Excellent and proven people management skills, demonstrating success with managing a variety of personalities from multi-cultural backgrounds Independent, self-directed, and motivated to achieve objectives Strong knowledge of identity solutions, biometric technologies and products, and criminal justice government agencies/organizations and operations Qualifications, Education, and Experience Minimum 10 years of customer-facing Program Management responsibilities and experience at a senior level At least 10 years of customer-facing Project Management responsibilities and leadership experience Minimum 10 years of leading teams PMI PMP certification desired Minimum of a bachelor's degree, preferably with a concentration in business administration, software engineering, information technology, or a combination thereof Microsoft Office tools knowledge and skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Project, Teams, Outlook) Relevant experience in a similar technology industry required Understanding of government agencies and government procurement processes and procedures Travel Requirement, Working Conditions, and Physical Demands Ability to travel approximately 25% Ability to work in a fast pace, dynamic organization
