Summary
Join our expanding team as a Crestron Programmer Specialist, where you'll play a pivotal role in commissioning sophisticated Audio-Visual (AV) systems during and after construction phases. In this position, you will not only provide technical insights on significant projects but also set and achieve objectives that align with the project's goals. Collaborating closely with the Project Manager, you'll be instrumental in delivering documented outcomes from system tests and commissioning processes.
Responsibilities
Craft and implement custom code for DSP systems from the ground up
Execute substantial modifications to existing Crestron systems
Interpret electronic schematics and architectural plans accurately
Conduct thorough point-to-point system functionality tests
Ensure installation quality and completeness by reviewing the project's Scope of Work (SOW)
Diagnose and troubleshoot integrated Crestron and DSP systems
Manage the installation of Crestron control programs, including upload and download functions
Optimize audio and video systems for peak performance
Set up and configure networked devices to facilitate communication
Provide comprehensive client training and compile final project documentation
Serve as the primary contact for clients in the Project Manager's absence
Develop, monitor, and complete project Punchlists
Travel to various job sites as required
Requirements
2+ years of experience in VTC system programming, with a specific focus on Crestron components
Demonstrated expertise in Crestron programming and Crestron multi-layer switch configuration, troubleshooting, and design
Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with team members, clients, and partners
Proficient in equipment testing, calibration, and user acceptance testing
Skilled in diagnosing and resolving complex system issues
Advanced understanding of audio, video, and control signal flow
Knowledgeable in IP networking principles
Strong multitasking skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
Independent worker with a keen sense for meeting tight deadlines
Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
Education/Certification Requirements
A Crestron Service Provider (CSP) certification is strongly preferred, though not mandatory
Commitment to obtain Crestron certification upon employment is required
Clearance Requirements
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and will need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an active Top Secret clearance is required
