Job Description:
Physicians Credentialing Services, LLC is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Credentialing Assistant. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that healthcare providers are properly credentialed with insurance companies, hospitals, and other healthcare organizations.
Responsibilities: Assist with the credentialing process for healthcare providers, including gathering and verifying required documentation. Input data accurately into credentialing databases and maintain updated records. Communicate with insurance companies, hospitals, and other healthcare organizations to facilitate the credentialing process. Assist with resolving credentialing-related issues and inquiries in a timely manner. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective credentialing operations. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines at all times. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Some medical office experience preferred, but not necessary; we are willing to train the right person. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of healthcare terminology and credentialing processes is a plus.
