Responsibilities
• Operate cranes on a bridge construction crew• Ensure safety of crew during operations• Perform regular inspections of crane and lines• Notify superiors of any maintenance or repairs needed• Lubricate and clean crane regularly• Assist with planning large lifts• Communicate with team regarding time away from work• Willingness to work flexible hours as required
Requirements
• Several years of crane operating experience• NCCCO certification• Living within commuting distance of Greenville NC area• Communication and problem-solving skills• Knowledge of bridge construction equipment• Compliant with OSHA requirements for crane operators• Valid driver's license and acceptable MVR• Passing a drug screening• Legally able to work in the US
Key Skills Needed
• Experience operating lattice boom and friction cranes• Ability to operate cranes with multiple lines• Proficiency in operating bridge construction equipment
