Worksite Location: St. Cloud, MN Accountant Job Description
This position primarily acts as a Tax Preparer, preparing tax returns with information obtained from clients. You will perform duties such as assisting with annual financial statement reviews/compilations along with monthly/quarterly bookkeeping services. The Accountant typically assists Seniors, Managers, and Partners in completing client projects and most work is performed with direction and supervision. What you'll do as an Accountant: Prepare sales tax returns, payroll tax returns, and year-end tax documents for clients Perform intermediate-level accounting tasks including bookkeeping and payroll Work directly with Managers and Partners to determine and meet all client's tax and accounting needs What you'll bring to the Accountant role: 1+ years of experience in accounting Experience with Excel, Adobe, QuickBooks, digital workload management, and tax preparation software – and comfortable learning new software programs Ability to manage multiple projects at a time Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as accept direction on given assignments Excellent communication skills Basic to intermediate level of knowledge about tax preparation, accounting, and bookkeeping CPA certification or working towards one Take the first step on your new career path!
