Are you someone who has a passion for the details of accounting for costs? CME is looking for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to help achieve the big picture: assisting with financial, program, and operational costs requirements. We are looking for a detailed oriented and results driving individual to be our Budget & Cost Analyst. CME's Analyst will provide experienced cost analysis and estimating support by integrating data from a variety of sources. We are seeking someone who has 3-5+ years of Cost Estimating, Budgeting/Cost Control, and Analysis experience with U.S. Federal government contracts & FAR/DFARS regulations. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, has proven cost and schedule analytical skills, and works well with others in schedule and cost baseline development, data analysis, monitoring and control, and earned value concepts and techniques.
Job Qualifications: Experience: 3-5+ years in: Accounting/Finance, Business, Operations, Scheduling or Cost Control Experience with program budgeting, baseline formation, and forecasting processes & revenue recognition and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) analysis Familiar with DoD contract type requirements, budget and expense, and associated data assets as well as DoD and NASA contracting methodologies and practices Knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards and Federal Acquisition Regulations & DFARS Experience with Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) requirements & deliveries Experience in proposal preparation, Basis of Estimate (BOE) preparation and evaluations Experience with Deltek Costpoint ERP or similar, COGNOS queries & reports Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Excel (pivot tables), Project and PowerPoint Experience preparing and presenting financial analysis as well as KPI tracking/dashboard reports Minimum Requirements Needed: BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or related field from Accredited College Positions with CME require access to controlled goods and technologies subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations or the Export Administration Regulations.
