Overview The Cost Accounting Clerk is responsible to process information relating to cost of product and verification thereof.
Primary Responsibilities Set up new products in the system Match purchase order to receiver and verify accuracy Check and verify accuracy of computerized receiver Assemble receiver package which includes receiving report, supplier invoices and freight bills Scan Receiver Packages to SAP Maintain logs and records relating to overseas containers Maintain proper documentation for preparation of monthly State Beverage Tax, work closely with Office Manager in preparation of this report Research price and quantity blocks on the supplier invoices and freight bills Help BSG determine missing or wrong information needed to process invoice Perform other job related duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalency plus 1 years of experience Knowledge with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), federal regulatory guidelines, and organizational objectives Proficiency using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets in creating pivot tables, develop charts, and complex formulas Physical Demands Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 15lbs EEO Statement Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits, an Affirmative Action/EEO employer, prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type and provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
