Participates in the creation of annual integrated marketing and communications plans for multiple parks, working with park and shared services teams to identify marketing tactics that support admissions revenue and attendance, supporting season pass, consumer tickets including resort guests, resellers and direct online sales.
• Responsible for oversight and creation of local channel plans between park communications, park operations and resort marketing teams including email, web, mobile, social, signature events, products and promotional offers; Establishes regular cadence of meetings to review plans, progress, and results throughout the season. Keeps park-based teams on point and accountable for plan deliverables; assists with influencing and nurturing relationships of in-park ops teams including Retail, F&B, Entertainment, Guest Services, etc.
• Assists Corporate Director, Marketing and Brand Management with annual and weekly business analytics and guest insights related to sales and attendance, leveraging market and guest survey data.
• Creates and presents in collaboration with the Corporate Director, Marketing and Brand Management marketing roadmaps associated with park brand campaigns or large consumer demand initiatives. Partners with centralized shared services functions (Advertising, CRM, Season Pass/Loyalty, eCommerce, Business Intelligence) to ensure optimal results of campaigns/events.
• Works alongside Corporate Director, Marketing and Brand Management and the Business Intelligence team to establish promotional offers, products, calendar and message maps.
• Manages in-park brand activation execution and park-based Brand Activation Managers. This may require partnering with park operations teams, i.e., food & beverage, sign/graphics shop, entertainment division, guest services, etc., to ensure integration, collaboration and brand alignment.
• Responsible for managing Brand Activation Manager's oversight of production and fulfillment of in-park marketing collateral/signage and any special events communications needs.
• Works with advertising agencies to oversee Brand Activation Manager's efforts in negotiating value-add media and promotional activities to support overall marketing and media plan.
• Oversees consumer promotional/retail program sales strategy, including quick service restaurants, beverage, attraction and charitable partners, etc. led by the park's Brand Activation Managers.
• Responsible for supervising all activities of Brand Activation Managers at each park and any seasonal associates supporting local efforts while coaching and evaluating performance throughout the year.
• Bachelor's Degree
• 6-8 years of marketing, communications, project management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Ability to travel up to 30%.
• Preferred Skills
• Ability to effectively partner with various stakeholders. Able to stay on budget and on time with projects. Solid leadership experience.
