Corporate Accounts Payable Associate

CAPREIT, A national vertically integrated multi family company located in North Bethesda, MD, is currently seeking a dependable, organized, detail oriented team player to work within the Corporate Accounting group.
Compensation and CAPREIT Benefits · Up to $31.00/Hr

· Processing the corporate accounts payable for the company
· Interacting directly with vendors to resolve invoicing issues
· Interacting directly with CAPREIT corporate employees to ensure the timely processing of invoices
· Ensuring that the Company's payment policies are followed
· Preparing Accounts Payable vendor account reconciliations
· Verifying Corporate Credit card coding for accuracy
· Perform specific projects as requested by Manager
· At least 5 years relevant experience
· The ability to communicate with vendors via email and verbally in a clear and professional manner
· A self-starter who is able to operate independently and is customer service oriented
· Experience with RealPage Spend Ops and Yardi is a plus
· A successful candidate must be able to demonstrate strong mathematical and quantitative skills
· Strong computer skills including above average Excel capabilities are required
· The ability to process a large volume of transactions in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy
· The ability and commitment to meet deadlines even during high volume periods
· Strong organization skills and the ability to manage multiple processes and priorities and deliver assignments on time in a dynamic environment
· Team player with a positive attitude and high degree of flexibility
· Experience in preparing and filing IRS form 1099
