Responsibilities
• Assist the CFO in directing the company's accounting functions.• Supervise the accounting office staff.• Ensure timely and accurate financial statements.• Prepare and evaluate financial reports.• Present accounting reports to top management, providing observations and recommendations.• Manage operational data, maintaining its accuracy and integrity.• Set up internal control systems and adopt proper policies for financial reporting to prevent inaccuracies.• Review financial data periodically to ensure its fairness and completeness.• Develop system controls for data integrity.• Develop operational and data documentation, and troubleshooting procedures.• Conduct account reconciliations and analysis.• Manage the company's monthly and yearly closing.• Maintain an understanding of operating software to ensure proper procedures are followed.• Prepare annual budgets for each department.• Assist in special projects as needed.
Requirements
• Experience in corporate accounting or a related field.• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.• Proficiency in accounting software.• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear manner.
