We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team. As a vital member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in enhancing district and school-based professional learning systems. Your primary focus will be on fostering leadership and instructional capabilities among teachers, administrators, central services staff, and paraprofessionals, aligning with key district initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
Profound understanding of effective adult learning strategies and instructional practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Apps.
Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
Ability to design and deliver engaging professional learning sessions.
Skilled in coaching methodologies to support professional growth.
Capable of evaluating and refining training programs to ensure effective implementation.
Adaptability to digital tools and innovative problem-solving approaches.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, fostering collaboration and feedback.
Strong ability to cultivate and sustain positive relationships with stakeholders.
Education, Training, and Experience:
Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
Five years of experience in Kindergarten-12 teaching.
Demonstrated success in teaching and training adults, with coaching experience.
Proven experience in facilitating professional development sessions and coaching individuals and teams.
Certification and License Requirements:
Must possess or be eligible for a North Carolina professional educator's license.
Valid motor vehicle operator's license according to the State of North Carolina requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
Previous experience in school-based coaching.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Design and deliver tailored professional learning experiences to meet individual employee needs.
Contribute to the development and instructional design of professional learning content.
Coordinate WCPSS-sponsored professional learning events.
Foster a positive learning environment conducive to active participation.
Provide coaching and support at district and school levels for effective professional learning.
Evaluate and monitor the impact of training on instructional processes, student achievement, and system goals.
Ensure fidelity in implementing professional learning programs with accurate and relevant content.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support initiatives and training opportunities.
Conduct both virtual and face-to-face learning experiences for employees.
Develop tools, resources, and activities to enhance continuous improvement training programs.
Serve on committees dedicated to enhancing professional growth opportunities and practices.
Engage in ongoing professional development activities to support system goals.
Provide recommendations for materials supporting professional development opportunities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
This role operates in a professional office environment with low to moderate noise levels. Standard office equipment such as computers, scanners, and copiers will be used. At times, direct contact with school system staff may be required. The position involves medium physical exertion, with occasional driving requirements.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 27,000.00 Per Year
