Responsibilities
• Complete necessary food and station preparation prior to opening• Recognize quality standards in fresh ingredients• Cook and prepare food according to recipes and plating specifications• Set up workstations with ingredients and cooking equipment• Ensure attractive presentation and quality of all food• Ensure food comes out simultaneously and in a timely fashion• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen• Assist Sous-Chef in improving the general quality of the cuisine• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested• Have thorough knowledge of menus and preparation standards
Requirements
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred• Culinary experience required• Flexible and long hours may be required• Ability to stand during entire shift• Medium physical work capacity• Thorough knowledge of menus and preparation standards
