Job Title: Cook Company: Sonoma Post Acute Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a variety of appetizing and nutritious meals for residents, adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences. Follow standardized recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistency and quality in meal preparation. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including proper storage and handling of food items. Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with dietary staff to plan menus and accommodate special dietary needs. Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations at all times. Assist with special events and catering functions as required. Qualifications: Prior experience as a cook in a healthcare or senior living setting preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. Strong culinary skills and creativity in meal preparation. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
