Responsibilities
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and customer preferences.• Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations and guidelines.• Ensure that all dishes are prepared and served on time.• Monitor food stock levels and replenish as necessary.• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and smooth operations.• Assist in menu planning and development of new recipes.• Follow proper food handling procedures and maintain hygiene standards.• Handle and store food items and ingredients properly.• Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Proven working experience as a Cook, preferably in a restaurant or catering establishment.• Knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods.• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils.• Strong attention to detail.• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.• Excellent communication and organizational skills.• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team setting.• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
