TESCO Staffing in Dedham, MA is looking for one cook to join our team. We are located in Dedham, MA. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and engaged. Shift - 930am-6pm (Availability on weekends.) Pay -$20/hour Responsibilities Prepares a variety of dishes according to standardized recipes, ensuring portion control and presentation. Follows modified diets and special meal requests based on doctor's orders and patient needs. Cooks food using various methods (grilling, sautéing, baking, frying) and maintains consistent quality. Assists with maintaining a clean and sanitized kitchen environment. Follows safe food handling practices to prevent contamination. Rotates stock and ensures proper labeling and dating of food items. May assist with serving meals or prepping ingredients for service. Reports any food spoilage or equipment malfunction to the supervisor. Contributes to a positive and collaborative work environment. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen environment. Prior experience in a hospital or healthcare food service setting is a plus. Strong understanding of safe food handling practices and adherence to HACCP guidelines. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
