Willow Spring Mercantile in Excelsior Springs, MO is looking for one team player to join our 13 person strong team. We are located at 249 E Broadway. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and reliable. Our small kitchen is unique in that we work much like a home kitchen where we all work together to prepare dishes from scratch for lunch guests prior to their arrival. Then we serve prepared lunches bistro style as they arrive to the restaurant. Our team is a close knit group that needs another team player who is comfortable multitasking and working in a team oriented environment and enjoys hard work and fun combined. Responsibilities
Set up kitchen and workstations Prep and create menu items and food prior to shift Follow health and safety guidelines Prepare ingredients for use during shift Wash dishes and manage dish and cookware areas Take inventories and maximize food for freshness Qualifications
Proven working experience as a cook in some fashion (can be home cooking) Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils Strong attention to detail Ability to listen and communicate effectively and be a team player Ability to multi-task and handle stressful situations comfortably Creative spirit that allows all team members to build on food design and implementation We are looking forward to hearing from you.
