Our client, a fast growing direct selling company, is seeking a COO/CFO who will execute the company's vision in alignment with the Visionary CEO. This individual will serve as the tie-breaker for the leadership team, the glue for the organization and provide the proper cadence.
Essential Functions of the Role Executive will report to Visionary CEO and partner with the Board of Directors to plan and execute strategic initiatives aligned with the company's vision to achieve superior financial results; Responsible for Sales & Field Relations, Marketing, I/T, Product Development & Management, Finance, and Human Resources; Develop and implement the strategic plans and manage the financials (budget, forecast, P&L/BS/CF); Accountable for the P&L results, executing the business plan, and holding the Leadership Team accountable; Create organizational clarity, communication, and consistency; drive results; force resolution, focus, team unity, prioritization and follow-through; be the filter for ideas of the Visionary CEO; harmoniously integrate the Leadership Team; and help to remove obstacles and barriers; Implement processes and systems while maintaining the scrappy, fast-paced, agile entrepreneurial culture; Ensure timely production of all financial reporting, including KPI reports, annual audited statements, monthly financial statements, that include P&L, balance sheet, cash flow statements, covenant calculations and MD&A overview, as well as all tax filings and support Controller; Oversee cash flow management and forecasting, payables, and financial audit processes; Manage key external relationships including the Board of Directors, key Suppliers, Banking/Financial, and Legal/Regulatory; Build, develop, and lead a high-performing team; Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting or another related field. Experience in an Executive leadership (CEO/COO) role in both a large, structured and small, high-growth company Direct-to-Consumer, e-Commerce company with high reliance on I/T Seven years of experience in an Executive role in a Consumer Products (CPG) company and three years in Financial Management as a CFO or VP/Director of Finance.
