Responsibilities
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs, variable speed drives, and instrumentation• Substitutes setting up, calibrating, troubleshooting, and repairing factory instrumentation and environmental control systems• Collaborate with Engineers and Vendors on new equipment installation, new HMI and process systems, process improvements, and service routines• Act as a liaison between corporate engineering and plant process controls• Work with factory management team to identify and correct equipment-related issues, improve efficiencies, product quality, and safety
Requirements
• Associate's Degree in related field preferred• Factory automation equipment and PLC programming and troubleshooting training required• Minimum eight (8) years' of Industrial or Electrical Controls experience• Minimum two (2) years' of experience with Rockwell Automation Software and Hardware (Allen Bradley)• Knowledge of and ability to program PLCs, VSD, motor controls• Knowledge of plant processes in a similar environment• Ability to develop and read instrumentation diagrams and ladder/relay logic• Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems• Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision• Ability to motivate, lead and coach others
