Responsibilities
• Perform checkout, testing, troubleshooting and commissioning/startup of electrical and electronic equipment• Install, navigate, troubleshoot and alter PLCs, PID loop controllers, VFDs, HMIs, and other control devices• Read and understand P&IDs, fabrication drawings, and electrical schematics• Troubleshoot 480 VAC and 24VDC wiring and circuits• Travel extensively within the US/Canada (75-90% travel)• Live within a 50-mile radius of a major airport• Drive a company vehicle and respond to customers as needed• Lift up to 50# occasionally and 25# routinely• Bend, stoop, crawl, and maneuver around skidded equipment and piping
Requirements
• Experience programming, calibrating, and configuring 4-20 MA loop devices• Experience modifying, diagnosing, and troubleshooting PLCs (Allen Bradley and GE brands)• Experience applying National Electrical Code (NEC)• Experience troubleshooting 480 VAC and 24VDC wiring and circuits• Obtain a TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Card) within the first six weeks of employment• Valid driver's license
