Responsibilities
• Document, develop, support, and improve control systems• Program torque control systems and joint development• Select error and mistake proofing devices• Help establish process and equipment specifications• Work with program team to develop and launch products• Provide guidance to Maintenance Technicians• Analyze and calculate machine performance• Plan, coordinate, and implement assigned projects• Interface with automation and capital equipment vendors• Implement process improvements and drive lean concepts
Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Controls Engineer or Maintenance Technician• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Programming• 2-4 years of PLC programming experience• 2-4 years of vision systems programming experience• 2 years of HMI programming experience• 2 years of experience in JIT, SPD, ILVS, and Batch manufacturing systems• 2 years of experience with manual and automated assembly systems• 2 years of technical experience• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Power Point, AutoCAD, RSLogix
Key Skills Needed
• Strong knowledge of EthernetIP & TCP/IP Systems• Strong knowledge of DC Torque Systems and Vision Systems• Basic theory of industrial control systems• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal direction• Decision-making and motivation skills
