We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Controls Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for developing, programming, and troubleshooting of electrical control systems and PLCs, including development of HMI and Allen Bradley systems. You will be expected to provide exceptional technical support to ensure the highest levels of equipment functionality and production capability in a food manufacturing environment.
Position Overview:
The Controls Engineer will be responsible for designing, programming, and troubleshooting electrical control systems and PLCs, as well as developing HMI and Allen Bradley systems. The role requires strong knowledge of engineering principles and a good understanding of food manufacturing processes. You must be able to troubleshoot complex problems and work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Design, program, and troubleshoot electrical control systems and PLCs Develop HMI and Allen Bradley systems Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that systems and processes are functioning properly Provide technical support to ensure the highest levels of equipment functionality and production capability Diagnose and repair complex issues with electrical control systems and PLCs Perform routine maintenance on electrical control systems and PLCs Follow safety protocols to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field 5+ years of experience in engineering and PLC programming Knowledge of food manufacturing processes and principles Experience with HMI and Allen Bradley systems Ability to troubleshoot complex problems and work with a wide range of stakeholders Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Knowledge of relevant safety protocols (Nice to have) Benefits Full benefits including healthcare, dental, PTO.
