Position Overview: The Controls Engineer is responsible for designing, developing and testing control systems for industrial machinery, robotic systems, information systems and other automated processes. This position requires a highly skilled individual who is able to analyse technical data, create control systems and develop creative solutions for complex problems.
Key Responsibilities: Design control systems for automated machinery, robotic systems and information systems. Develop innovative solutions for control systems. Troubleshoot and diagnose existing control systems. Analyse technical data and provide recommendations to improve existing systems. Develop programs and software for the control systems. Evaluate existing systems and identify areas of improvement. Maintain and update existing control systems. Establish safety protocols and procedures for control systems. Train other personnel on control systems. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in control systems engineering. Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. Proficient in programming languages such as C, C++. Knowledge of robotic systems and automation. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
