Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller , which will be one of the highest leadership roles in the company. The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Additionally, the Controller will play a key role in managing HR and data processing functions, pricing and costing of machines, inventory management, legal compliance, and vendor relationships. Key Responsibilities: Financial Management: Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes. Manage cash flow and banking relationships. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial laws. HR and Data Processing: Supervise HR functions including benefits administration, insurance, and payroll. Oversee data processing systems, including custom systems and software. Manage relationships with external vendors and programmers. Provide guidance on HR-related matters and compliance. Pricing and Costing: Determine pricing strategies for machines and products. Calculate and analyze costs associated with machine production and shipment. Ensure accurate costing methodologies are applied to maintain profitability. Inventory Management: Oversee scanning of parts on the floor for job costing and inventory management. Conduct systems analysis to optimize inventory tracking and management. Evaluate vendor contracts and make informed decisions on vendor selection. Legal Compliance: Collaborate with legal counsel on regulatory and compliance matters. Review and approve legal documents and agreements. Ensure all business activities adhere to legal requirements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree preferred). CPA designation is highly desirable. Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management roles. Strong understanding of HR functions and data processing systems. Experience with pricing and costing methodologies, preferably in manufacturing or related industries. Knowledge of legal compliance requirements.
