Company Overview: Omni Medical Supply is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. This is a key leadership role that requires strong technical accounting knowledge and the ability to effectively manage financial operations.
```Responsibilities```
Financial Management: Oversee and manage the day-to-day activities of the accounting team, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions. Ensure the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for internal and external reporting purposes. Provide insightful analysis of financial results and variances to budget. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with department heads. Monitor budget performance and provide recommendations for improvement. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth. Provide training on accounting processes and procedures as needed. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and implement efficiency improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial systems and reporting tools. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation is a plus. Ten years of progressive experience in accounting, with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems.
