$17.50 DOE Key Responsibilities: Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of crystal growth equipment. Monitor and control crystal growth processes to ensure optimal conditions and product quality. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to prevent downtime. Perform quality control tests on crystals, including visual inspections and measurements of physical properties. Document process parameters, observations, and results accurately and comprehensively. Collaborate with engineers and scientists to develop and refine crystal growth processes. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to crystal growth and processing. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and procedures. Stay up-to-date with advancements in crystal growth technologies and industry standards. Qualifications: Understand and utilize Excel for data collection and evaluation Strong understanding of crystal growth principles and techniques. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
