Position Summary: The Contractor Sales Representative is responsible for developing a sales territory through prospecting new accounts, developing new customer base and customer retention This position is responsible for growth throughout the Northern Fairfield/Litchfield counties. Travel throughout Connecticut is required.
Your Role: Prospect new customers and develop new accounts. Maintain existing accounts and relationships. Develop and implement sound selling strategies. Present and promote all USA/All American's services to prospects and existing customers. Collaborate with the Manager on any situation that may seem out of the ordinary regarding price and/or service. Expedite the resolution of customers' problems and complaints with maximum satisfaction. Maintains reasonable, regular, punctual attendance consistent with Company policies, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other federal, state, and local standards. Adapts to changing duties, as required, based on business needs. Your Skills: Ability to work independently and effectively with little supervision. Ability to multi-task and problem solve. Ability to understand current trends and competition in the marketplace. Speak clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situations. Ability to listen and get clarification. Must be organized with the ability to keep files and records for future business. Ability to price out work according to type and service level. Gritty, outgoing, and eager to learn. Effective communication (verbal and written) skills. Strong interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate effectively with other functional groups. Strong problem-solving skills. The environment is fast-paced and the person among these people must be proactive, hardworking, highly organized, and an independent thinker. Desired Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. 5 years' experience in outside sales (experience in waste removal preferred) Demonstrated clerical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft office Must have a current driver's license and own vehicle. Required to be exposed to a physical environment that involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes, or similar elements rarely.
