Job Description SummaryRole Summary:The successful candidate will be a direct report to our Senior Risk and Contracts Manager and will work closely on a day-to-day basis with the Project Managers, Sales Managers, Commercial Operations, and functional teams. The candidate will provide contract support for commercial and government project teams across the Power Conversion North America region. In this role, the candidate will also provide support for contract specific tasks such as the interpretation and negotiation of contract level terms and issues supporting day-to-day contract administration.These duties will include assisting with contractual customer communications and correspondence, preparing representations and certifications, analyzing terms and conditions, drafting, reviewing and negotiating Non-Disclosure Agreements and teaming agreements.Job DescriptionEssential Responsibilities:Support proposal activities, including but not limited to: analysis of the Request for Proposals, ensuring proper contract reviews and relevant compliance matrices are completed before any proposals are submitted to customer or any execution activities begin, with particular attention to the financial and business risks of the proposed effort, participating in all proposal team meeting, preparing terms, conditions and assumptions upon which the proposal may be submittedSupport service commercial teams through quotation and order acceptance process, ensuring adherence to company risk policy and meeting customer objectivesPartner closely with the commercial teams and customers to assure a clear understanding of the contract terms and appropriate regulations before and during execution of the contract.Provide support and guidance to project teams during contract execution to ensure full compliance with contract terms and relevant government regulationsSupport sourcing with preparation of flow-down packages for sub-contractors/suppliers and managing sub-contractors/suppliers during contract executionEnsure that proper FAR, DFARS, DEARS, and other commercial and government flow-down requirements are complied with in subcontracts and contractsProvide operational support to the Risk Manager in reviewing Non-Disclosure Agreements and other contractual instruments setting out terms and conditions,Day to day risk management activities as assigned, enforcing internal processesBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or collegeMinimum of 3 years of experience in government and commercial contract formation and executionPrior experience with DoD contracts or subcontracts and a variety of contract types such as Cost Plus, Fixed Price, etc.US CitizenAbility to obtain secret clearanceDesired Qualifications:Experience with terms and conditions and a variety of contract types such as Cost Plus, Fixed Price, etc.Experience with customer negotiationsExperience with proposals, pricing, project managementWorking knowledge of FAR/DFARS, and other U.S. Federal Government contracting regulationsExperience as a Contract Specialist in the defense industryThis role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
