Roles & Reponsibilites: Responsibilities: - This person will be responsible for REHAU's internal RPS² (REHAU performance system) geared torwards all continuous improvement process's. RPS c omprises standardized management instruments, methods and tools for improving results from the perspective of costs, quality and delivery service (in line with the overarching key performance indicators from QCEPS) and develops these further on an ongoing basis.
In this role as a Continuous Improvement Specialist, you'll perform all aspects of Continuous Improvement activities, always driven by business needs and company strategies / objectives
- Coach and mentor leaders, project teams, and associates to engrain solid problem-solving through process on a daily basis
- Support on the floor and establish annual plans, data collection systems, program/project tracking, sustainment and follow-up initiatives
- Maintain and develop further relationships with all Strategic Operations, Operations Managers, and associates to include Operators, Quality, Engineering, Materials, Programs, and Supply Chain to support various initiatives, projects or any other activity by applying the available tools and knowledge
- Apply Project Management Tool to manage all projects within scope while ensuring timeline and target accomplishment
- Train and facilitate cross-functional teams 
- Recommend and propose potential replication projects to plant/program/department owners
- implementation and realization of continuous improvement in the plant
- scheduling, coordination and realization of workshops  
- backing of contin Roll Out, beginning from order clarification up to achieving of goals
- step-suitable communication accompanying the implementation of process vision
- creation of reports and coordination of reporting as central contact person
- processing, evaluation and realization of ideas and suggestions for improvement of plant's employees
- determination of measures in case of deviation based on defined scenarios of escalation
Expreience: 2+ years related experience Experience conducting/ leading training, including On-The-Job training, in a manufacturing environment preferred. Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills Experience with Kaizen, SMED, Six Sigma, etc preferred Qualifications Preferred Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or Science or related discipline with six (2) years of related experience, or the overall equivalent; Subject Matter Expertise in Lean and Continuous Improvement principles, systems, methodologies and tools Experience with Quality, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial engineering departments and activities Requires analytical, problem-solving skills with systematic thinking ability Highly effective communicator both written and spoken Training experience, both in individual and group settings.
