What? This position is responsible for leading all activities to bring OFD to world class manufacturing by implementing Lean, Six Sigma and TPM methodologies. This role will interact with all areas of the company, driving OFD to a Lean manufacturing environment.
Main aspects of the role include:
Teach methodical problem solving on production floor including RCATeach and coach supervisors and coordinators Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and TPM. Develop short and long-term CI roadmaps. Work with compliance department and management on the Six Sigma approach to the continuous development of facilities and equipment including, but not limited to: Root Cause Analysis Loss Analysis Value Stream Mapping Project Management Corrective Action Plans Change Control Documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional leaders within other departments to meet company goals and vision. Lead Continuous Improvement team; employee training and development including generating annual goals, career development, and department succession plans. You! The ideal candidate will have 6 years work experience in a manufacturing environment with a bachelors degree in a related field; or equivalent overall work experience and education. Additionally, proven leadership skills; including continuous improvement leadership. This person should have knowledge of FDA, SQF, and cGMP regulations. Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma with a green belt or greater certification is a plus. Demonstrated CI projects with a focus on cost savings and demonstrated effectiveness in Loss Analysis and Value Stream Mapping.
