Job Description:
Newell Brands is seeking a talented and motivated Content Writer to join our team in Houston, Texas on a part-time basis. As an entry-level position, we welcome individuals with at least 1 year of experience in content writing or a related field. The ideal candidate will be confident, driven, and possess strong negotiation and communication skills.
Responsibilities:1. Research, write, and edit engaging content for a variety of platforms including websites, blogs, social media, and marketing materials.2. Collaborate with internal teams to develop content strategies that align with brand objectives and target audience.3. Conduct interviews and gather information to create compelling and unique content.4. Ensure all content is accurate, well-researched, and meets brand guidelines.5. Optimize content for SEO and drive organic traffic to our digital platforms.6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in content writing.
Requirements:1. Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.2. Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen attention to detail.3. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and content management systems.5. Basic knowledge of SEO best practices.6. Experience with social media platforms and content marketing strategies is a plus.
