This includes the utilization of standard principles, theories, concepts, and techniques for cleanroom design, airflow dynamics, filtration, AMC, ESD, ionization, particle counter, analytical testing methods, and the calibration and maintenance of related instrumentation while partnering with shift MDE, Ops, Facilities, Gas/Chemical technicians, engineers, and leaders to reduce impact to production.Responsibilities:Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process.Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings.Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.Flexibility and ability to work 12-hour shifts.Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required..May perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers.Skills and Experience include but are not limited to:Basic understanding of semiconductor equipment and processes.Intermediate knowledge of AC/DC and Digital Electronics circuits, including fundamentals of electricity, basic electronic components and circuit analysis.Intermediate knowledge of algebraic concepts.Knowledge of statistics, Algebra, and English coursework.Use of schematic diagrams to solve systems to the components level.Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve intermediate equipment problems and address root cause.Proven ability to properly use common hand tools.Intermediate understanding of wafer sort equipment and processes.Intermediate data extraction, analysis, and reporting skills.Intermediate knowledge of test and calibration equipment (O-scopes and DMMs).Proven ability in multi-tasking complex projects.Basic understanding of SPC principles.Proven ability to communicate and present effectively.Proven ability to follow procedures and work with minimal supervision.Demonstrated time management and prioritization skills.Minimum Qualifications:2-year Associates Degree OR related certificate(s) OR relevant experience, including military training.Technical hands-on solving and repair experience.Experience in manufacturing or lab setting.Strong problem-solving skills.Preferred Qualifications:Associated in an electronic related field and 2 years of experience in a clean room or lab environment.Additional Job Description:Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process.
