Job Description:

Devon Energy is seeking a part-time Contact Center Officer to join our team in Austin, Texas. As an Associate Level employee with at least 4 years of experience in a customer service or contact center role, the Contact Center Officer will be responsible for effectively communicating with customers via telephone, email, and chat to address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional service.

Responsibilities:- Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and chat messages from customers in a timely and professional manner- Listen to customers' needs, concerns, and feedback to provide appropriate solutions and recommendations- Utilize a variety of resources and tools to accurately document customer interactions and resolutions- Proactively identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and retention- Collaborate with team members and other departments to escalate and resolve complex issues- Meet or exceed key performance metrics related to customer service, quality, and productivity- Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by management

Requirements:- Strong communication skills with a professional and friendly demeanor- Adaptable and reliable with the ability to work independently and as part of a team- Demonstrated experience in a customer service or contact center role- Proficiency using customer relationship management (CRM) software and other relevant technologies- Strong soft skills including cooperation, persuasion, and active listening- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail- Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
