Job Description:
Valero Energy is seeking a Contact Center Associate to join our team and work remotely from home in Charlotte, North Carolina. This part-time position is ideal for someone with at least 2 years of experience in a contact center or customer service role. As an Associate Level Contact Center Associate, you will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound customer calls, emails, and chats to provide exceptional customer service and support.
Responsibilities:- Answering incoming customer calls, emails, and chats in a professional and courteous manner- Providing accurate information and assistance to customers regarding products, services, and policies- Resolving customer issues and escalating to management when necessary- Documenting customer interactions and maintaining accurate records in the company's CRM system- Collaborating with team members and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction- Contributing to process improvements and providing feedback on customer trends
Requirements:- Adaptability and resourcefulness to handle a variety of customer inquiries and situations- Strong project management and planning skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Previous experience in a contact center or customer service role preferred- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree a plus- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
