We are looking for a driven pavement expert to provide construction management services and expertise for a variety of different clients and projects.
Utilizing your knowledge of pavements and the construction process, you'll safeguard our clients' projects by monitoring and reviewing their construction. This position is on a fast-growing department and offers a stable and predictable full-time schedule, little physical labor, and opportunity for advancement.

Responsibilities & Duties: Construction management, including the following: conducting a pre-construction meeting, coordinating the contractor's work schedule, reviewing/approving material submittals & procedures, and onsite construction observation Review the construction of paving projects to ensure line & grade, materials, and workmanship complying with plans and specifications Prepare accurate daily reports and record drawings utilizing electronic reporting software Provide project information to contractors, project managers, and property owners/managers Communicate with clients to answer questions and provide updates Collaborate with our GPS team to utilize drones and advanced technologies in order to improve client deliverables Requirements Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years of experience in pavement construction, engineering, inspection/review, or related experience, including: Onsite project management and construction inspection/review Working with/or for pavement contractors Ability to travel 25-50% in Wisconsin. Experience with client interaction Be team-oriented yet individually driven, have strong communication and interpersonal skills, have advanced problem-solving abilities, and be deadline-oriented Initiative, a positive attitude, and attention to detail Skill in interacting using diplomacy and tact with a variety of different people including residents, municipal officials, supervisors, project managers, contractors, and laborers The ability to act as an on-site coordinator for construction projects The ability to read and interpret construction drawings The ability to use tools to measure, estimate and verify that project specifications are followed A willingness to work outdoors in inclement weather A valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and personal vehicle insurance Benefits Benefits Our flexible working environment, engaged culture, and in-depth training and mentoring program are just a few reasons why we are a top-rated place to work.
