Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team and oversee renovation projects in the Greenville/Spartanburg, SC area. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction project management, particularly in renovations, and a strong understanding of waterproofing techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure efficient and timely project delivery.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Communicate regularly with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address any concerns or issues.
Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and project reports.
Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and other legal requirements.
Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and challenges to minimize disruptions and delays.
Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
Proven experience in construction project management, particularly in renovations and waterproofing.
Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Local to the Greenville/Spartanburg, SC area preferred.
