Job Summary If you're interested in Construction Manager/Owner's Representative job, then this is the best role for you. This role assists our project management team in monitoring construction activities as an owner's representative in our team. For a large multimillion dollar winery renovation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with a proven track record of successfully completing projects on time and within budget, and experience in representing the owner's interests throughout the project.
Job Description Oversee day to day construction activities. Attend daily and weekly job walks. Respond to RFI and Submittal Requests, and review of shop drawings. Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors. Interface with onsite staff, construction team, and leadership. Oversight of build quality so it adheres to original plans and specifications. Act as the primary point of contact for the owner, effectively representing the owner's interests in all project matters. Coordinate and manage project changes, ensuring that they are properly documented and approved by the right people. Monitor project progress, costs, and quality, and report regularly to the owner. Ensure that the project is completed in accordance with the owner's requirements and objectives. Support Project Manager(s) as needed. Work Environment: Works outdoors/indoors Works in warm/cold climates Works in high places Works on wet surfaces Is exposed to loud noise, fumes and/or toxic chemicals. Works near moving, mechanical parts and lift truck traffic. Primary Construction environment may be warehouse/distribution setting. Skills Required Previous experience in construction management or other related fields. Experience in an owner's representative role is highly desirable. Familiarity with construction management software. Strong leadership qualities. Strong negotiation skills. Excellent communication and reporting skills. Deadline and detail oriented. Must be able to move up to 55 lbs. Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time and work on a computer for extended periods. Lifting may be required. Additional Requirements Must be able to pass drug screen & criminal background check. Must be at least 21 years of age. Weekend work as needed to support construction schedule.
