85KQualificationsBachelor's or Associate Degree in civil engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering, or ConstructionPrior experience monitoring municipal infrastructure construction work on sanitary and storm sewer projects, waterlines, pump stations, roadway improvements, and related work for compliance with the contract plans and specifications.Ability to read and understand blueprints, contract specifications and to interact with clients, contractors and management.Tasks and ResponsibilitiesOn site monitoring of labor, materials, equipment, and construction operationsWritten reporting of operations, measurements and calculations, quantity collations, and appurtenant effortsMonitoring and reporting on extra work activitiesInterface with clients, residents and businesses affected by the workOther related activities as needed
